Scalloped Gimp Trimmed Silk Bell Lampshades – Taupe Dupioni Pure Silk

The Scalloped Gimp Trimmed Silk Bell lampshade is a variation of the traditional Silk Bell lampshade. The Scalloped Silk Bell lampshade has nearly the same dimensions as the traditional Silk Bell lampshade, but, the Scalloped Silk Bell lampshade is designed with a series of rounded, convex projections – scallops – that form a decorative edge on the top and bottom of the lampshade frame; a gimp trim is the finishing touch. Like the traditional Silk Bell lampshade, the diameter at the top of the Scalloped Silk Bell lampshade is about ½ of the diameter of the bottom of the lampshade meaning the lampshade exhibits a gentle flare – or bell – from the top to the bottom of the lampshade.
